Here we share you our next Guitar Tune – ‘Rooth na Jana’. Rooth Na Jana is the last music of Music Director Late R.D. Burman for the movie 1942 a Love Story. Kapil re-arranged the whole melody to a more rhythmic improvisation, and touch of an Irish flavour on Guitar. The unique part in this melody is that he represents and re-phrases all pieces just on his favorite instrument on Guitar. This melody is a tribute to our Treasure of Music i.e. Bollywood and RD Burman. Melody is also selected as the fifth tune of Season # 1 (Guitar and Ghatam Special) of GM Tune Time Video Episodes Series as it uses.
“When I used to give special Bollywood Guitar Classes in Indirapuram, the tune Rooth Na Jana was one of my favorite repertoires in D and F Major Scale.”
Students used to enjoy this melody a lot because of its peppy feel and tempo. Technically it gives them a very easy way of comprehending D major scale route in different positions and octaves in Guitar. Later on I re-arranged the whole piece to add on elements and skills of Tremolo picking and usage of accidentals. And thus it became our one of the solo guitar pieces of Bollywood Music.
When we planned ‘Guitar and Ghatam’ season, this song has both space and scope of using Ghatam, which inspired us to include this melody in Season # 1 said Kapil Srivastava Bollywood Tunes on Guitar Course is run by Guitarmonk at its Guitar Institutes in Ghaziabad and Delhi.
Students Learning Guitar in Delhi can also take special session to perform this melody. Students outside Delhi can order sheet music to practice this melody at home.
Guitarmonk is running its Guitar Classes in Ghaziabad at all three prominent locations as Indirapuram, Vasundhara, Vaishali.
